They also have proprietary adjustable gas blocks, adjustable triggers, and centric lined barrels. But that really only applies if you're not getting their standard items, which use Sharps Bros Milled Receivers. Their receiver, for example, has Romy parts, but is lined with their MDC proprietary kit. They do use Romy parts on some of their builds, but from my understanding, but most things are made in house. Probably further than the average person would. I've seen a lot of reviews on them from credible YouTube channels that really push these rifles to their limits. I don't really understand the hate behind these rifles. From the things I've read on reddit, it seems like the company gets a lot of flack for "just" using Romy parts when everything I've seen shows they do a lot more. That's when I came across Meridian Defense. I've been looking for an AK the shoots great out of the box, because I don't really want to do any aftermarket work on it unless I have to.

I own several firearms that I can expect to do this or can be modified to do this (LWRCI for example), and I want to add an AK to my list. I'm used to treating my weapons like absolute garbage because they are tools, and they should perform under extreme conditions otherwise they're not worth having, in my opinion.
